Hopefully those of you in the United States had a happy Fourth last week. To celebrate, The First Purge opened up in theaters. This is the fourth movie in the franchise and serves as a prequel. (If you're a Patreon supporter at the Jimmy Olsen level or higher, you can hear a bonus podcast on the third movie--The Purge: Election Year). Of course Ant-Man and the Wasp also opened in theaters. We finally find out why Scott Lang wasn't in Infinity War...not that it was really a big mystery.

The latest Star Wars stand-alone movie is finally here. This is the movie, it seems, many wanted to hate before it was even released. Find out which side of the fence we stand on. Star Wars: The Last Jedi was also re-watched as well as completing the novel adaptation. Deadpool 2 was seen again, and there were a couple things we forgot to mention last time. If that wasn't enough, there's talk on a 2017 movie called Eliose, which is about an insane asylum in Michigan. It stars Eliza Dushku and Chace Crawford and was pretty weird.
